AI Friendly Engineering

Engineering is not intrinsically related to AI, which might have its own engineering problems. AI Friendly engineering is a mindset that distinguishes these two domains in following senses:

1. Use engineering to solve AI problems.
2. Use AI to solve engineering problems.
3. Avoid unnecessary engineering problem caused by AI.
4. Avoid unnecessary AI problem caused by engineering (sometimes we call this overengineering).

We want to have a virtuous cycle to improve AI via engineering and improve engineering via AI.

However if we are not careful, we could also easily fall into a vicious cycle, where AI creates more engineering problems and overengineering then creates more AI problem. In this case, the solution of one domain becomes the problem in the other domain.

We need AI Friendly Enigeering and Engineering Friendly AI.
